# Credits - DRIVER HUD 1.3.5 — FireScallion, copyright 2026, MIT. The version-scoped read-only native reader in `src/native.lua` is adapted from the supplied release; license included verbatim in `LICENSE-DRIVER-HUD.txt`. From v1.11.1 the module compatibility check (PE structure + reviewed code guards instead of exact PE identity) follows DRIVER HUD 1.4.5 (same author, same MIT license). Repository: https://github.com/FireScallion/DRIVER-HUD---HD2-Vehicle-HUD - Bingus Shared Loader — CowboyBingus. Separate prerequisite, not redistributed. - DRIVER HUD's third-party HUD+ GUI material, icons and configurator are NOT included or referenced. Chinese/number glyphs in `src/art.lua` are 1-bit rectangles anti-aliased coverage rects rendered from Noto Sans CJK SC Regular/Bold (SIL Open Font License 1.1, Google/Adobe) at 1x/1.5x/2x pixel sizes; only the rect data for the ~70 characters used is embedded, not the font file. Earlier versions used Fusion Pixel Font by TakWolf (OFL 1.1). Fallback text uses the game's own `core/performance_hud/debug` font by name. - Game names, identifiers and interfaces belong to their respective owners. Mech reader, zone table, renderer and lifecycle were written for this workspace task. No upstream endorsement is claimed. ## t3 reference encoding source Niklas Frykholm's public `stingray-engine-code-walkthrough/21-lua.md` describes the two-bit weak-reference tag convention. This implementation is independently written from that documented convention; the chapter is linked, not redistributed as package source. It is not a promise of HD2 compatibility or upstream endorsement. https://github.com/niklasfrykholm/stingray-engine-code-walkthrough/blob/master/21-lua.md https://luajit.org/ext_ffi_semantics.html ## t4 component resource data The twelve entity-resource / UnitPath facts were independently extracted from the public FileDiver game-data snapshot at commit d8bb99f7a525395e9db8d20dca0f052d90c52955. The layout was checked against UnitComponentData, UnitComponent and ComponentIndexData in its accompanying type library. The runtime contains only an explicit mapping and an independently written validator, not the FileDiver application. The game-data archives and third-party Go implementation are not redistributed in this package. This is not a claim of endorsement or live compatibility. Record offsets, source digests and fixed URLs are in validation/resource-schema.json. https://github.com/xypwn/filediver/tree/d8bb99f7a525395e9db8d20dca0f052d90c52955/datalibrary ## t5 installed-model root evidence The nine base model main resources were read from the user's installed game archives without modifying them. Scene graph parsing was independently implemented from the public FileDiver Unit/DSAA/DSAR layouts at commit d8bb99f7a525395e9db8d20dca0f052d90c52955. The root-name candidate from its thin-hash dictionary was verified by independently computing its hash and matching the installed files. Only necessary node metadata and verification code are distributed here, not the raw model files, geometry or FileDiver application. Static serialized node indices are never passed directly into the engine. Live node existence and API-returned indices remain required. No upstream endorsement is claimed. ## t6 close-range policy The per-arm geometry change was independently implemented for this workspace. It removes the blanket body-separation gate while retaining the existing 6m candidate radius and 3m distance advantage. Frozen t5 coordinates are replay fixtures, not native parent-link evidence. No new game APIs, raw-memory layouts or third-party implementation are introduced. ## t7 named weapon mount evidence Pinned FileDiver commit: d8bb99f7a525395e9db8d20dca0f052d90c52955. - https://github.com/xypwn/filediver/blob/d8bb99f7a525395e9db8d20dca0f052d90c52955/datalibrary/mount_component.go - https://github.com/xypwn/filediver/blob/d8bb99f7a525395e9db8d20dca0f052d90c52955/datalibrary/attachable_component.go - https://github.com/xypwn/filediver/blob/d8bb99f7a525395e9db8d20dca0f052d90c52955/datalibrary/enum/mountside.go The typelib, not public struct padding, establishes the full 24-byte MountInfo layout. Opaque flags are preserved, not interpreted. MountSide Right=1, Left=2. Four body slot definitions and eight zero encoded arm offsets are re-extracted from pinned component records. All four name hashes occur uniquely in the installed shared base model. Socket names were independently matched from semantic name candidates, not read from a complete dictionary. Runtime still resolves names through has_node/node; serialized indices are never used as engine indices. This is geometric corroboration, not native parent-pointer proof. Source snapshot and base model evidence do not enumerate every live override.
