=========================== DUNGEONS ===========================

IMPORTANT:
- You must defeat the third boss and obtain the Golden Chalice before adding dungeons.
  Adding them too early may break your save.

TO INSTALL DUNGEONS:

1. Download or open ONCCv031.exe / ONCCv031 from:
   https://www.nexusmods.com/bloodborne/mods/342?tab=files

2. Launch ONCC and select your ShadPS4 folder and save file.

3. At the bottom, click "Dungeon Manager" and add dungeons to your save.

IN-GAME LOCATION:
- Dungeons appear in the Hunter’s Dream, on the left path (the graves).


============================ NOTES ============================

- NONE OF THESE APPLY TO LINUX USERS

- DO NOT minimize the game window — this can freeze and crash the game.

- DO NOT close the game using the [X] on the window or Alt+F4.
  Instead, close the terminal that launched it.

- If you close the game improperly, it may leave a ghost process using RAM.
  Use Process Explorer (included) to kill the leftover process manually.
  It’s usually found near the bottom of the process list and consumes a lot of RAM.


============================ PLAYING ===========================

TO AVOID CONFIG WINDOWS:

- Open ShadPS4 and right click your game and click Create Shortcut, if you modded the game, do not worry, it works either way


========================== CONTROLLER ==========================

Controller support is fully available in ShadPS4.
To configure:
- Launch ShadPS4 with GUI and set up your controller from there.

NOTE:
Steam controller mapping is not recommended.
You’ll lose touchpad functionality which lets you open the quick inventory in Bloodborne.


======================== STEAM OVERLAY =========================

(Linux Only)

To enable Steam Overlay:
- Run the emulator through Gamescope.

Steam launch options example:
gamescope -w 1920 -h 1080 -f --hdr-enabled %command%


========================== SYS_MODULES ==========================

SKIP THIS SECTION IF YOU USED THE "Emulator Setup" ABOVE
- These are optional firmware files from PS4 firmware version 11.0.
- Place them in: `ShadPS4/user/sys_modules`

IMPORTANT:
- These are **not required** to play Bloodborne.
- Provided just in case — feel free to try them if you encounter issues.


=========================== PATCHES ============================

ONLY FOLLOW THESE STEPS IF:
You did **not** copy the ShadPS4 folder already containing pre-applied patches.

STEPS:

1. Right-click Bloodborne in ShadPS4 and select:
   Cheats/Patches → Patches tab

2. Download patches from **ShadPS4** — NOT GoldHEN (those will crash the game)

3. Enable the following patches:
   - Skip Intro
   - Disable HTTP Requests
   - 60FPS (with Deltatime)

4. (Optional patches):
   - Disable Motion Blur
   - Disable VSync (may cause higher input lag)
   - Restore Debug Cam + Dash
     (These work together; read the patch description for usage instructions.)
